The Melanson Company Service Department was brought on by the First Baptist Church of Brattleboro VT to complete roof repairs to their building originally constructed in 1840.

Sarnafil produced this Project Profile after we completed the Zorn Dining Commons roof at Keene State College. It’s a great example of team work with a number of parties that helped create an attractive and functional building.

The Tuck Living and Learning Complex at Dartmouth College, designed by Good Clancey Architects and built by Engelberth Construction during 2007 – 2008 was a unique structure that required comprehensive commercial roofing services and architectural sheet metal work.

Much of the work completed by The Melanson Company is rarely seen by the public. So when an opportunity arose to be part of the team on the renovation of the 172 year old downtown Manchester landmark, The Pandora Mill building, came along we were very excited.

The Melanson Company first began performing work for SAU 70 in the mid to late 80’s. In addition to new installations we have completed maintenance and upgrade work on many existing roof systems, improving their performance and extending service.

The Melanson Company has been performing work at this school since 1981. The initial work involved re-roofing the major flat-roofed buildings with stone ballasted EPDM rubber roofs.

In addition to repairs, our Service crews are often called upon to complete small detailed re-roofing projects such as this one.

This Service project consisted of removal and replacement of shingles and deteriorated sheathing in one area of an existing roof while leaving the remainder intact.

Providing a quality day lighting solution for the client, Melanson Service recently installed two additional skylights in this busy retail environment.
